As the spring is making new flower buds developing  and soon their are coming new fruits, we had so much berries last year that we had to frozen.


Blackberry and Raspberry jam

           My homemade  jam recipe is easy 50% of fruit and 50% of sugar.You can use less sugar if you add pectin.



 First put the berries in a pan, don't add water, the fruit contains  water that you needs.Let the fruits book for some minutes.
If you don't care about the fruit seeds you can skip this step, if you don't like seeds, first use a hand blender and press with a spoon throug a fine sieve, mine os médium large so I use a spoon soup.



       Now you have to weigh the liquid, don't forget to weigh the bowl before or after.
The weight of the liquid is the same amount of weight of sugar.
Let boil for some minutes to thicken it.

                       Put the jam in to the cans
